Hi.
Still not getting DTube video links to open automatically.
Whether they require a different linking technique to YouTube I am trying to find from Steemit the creators of DTube.
It will work if you copy and paste the link into your browser address bar

Is DTube The Bitcoin video platform rival to YouTube?
I’m probably a Johnniecumlately with the revelation in this
post, and will alert the duplicate content Steemit cheetah bot I expect, but the idea excites me,
and I’m sure there will be other late discoverers who will appreciate this.
The programme is called 3figuremonetizer – link below
It’s a paid programme,but I am not an affiliate,so this is to
inform not promote.
It’s about uploading videos to Dtube and being paid in Steem Dollars
depending on the popularity of your video measured in votes in a similar way to Steemit posts.
DTube is an initiative by the Steemit creators. Steemit itself was
started as a Social Media platform to rival Facebook, Twitter et al but where
contributors are paid to post.
DTube is the Steemit answer to YouTube.
Contributors to DTube are
paid depending on the views and votes received.
Here is an example–
Notice that it has earned the video creator $136.571 in Steem Dollars.
Please note – As with any new technology there are a few bugs to sort. The videos sometimes do not display. If that is the case I find by clicking the icon of the video in the sidebar it will run.Or right click on the The Bitcoin War image and click open in new tab.
Here is a screenshot of DTube
Steem Dollars is a Cryptocurrency (Exchange symbol SBD).and we know how many believe
that Bitcoin and similar Cryptocurrencies are the future of World Finance
And here is my own attempt on DTube

91 Today
91 Today
Actually it was last Monday November 6th,but my
internet connection which has been super reliable for years went down. I was
like a bear with a sore backside without it.Lost.Bored.Irritable.
There was life before the internet but it’s hard to remember
how we filled our days.
1926 was an eventful year as you can see below –
Sorry I couldn’t help doing a name drop. It reminds me of
the nonentity who said “Nelson’s dead, Shakespeare’s dead, and I don’t feel too
good myself”
Battling a horrible skin rash and blisters disease added to
my woes. I couldn’t sleep because of the itching. Is there anything more
tormenting than an itch that you can’t reach? And at my age and stiffness there
are more and more places becoming out of scratching bounds
Getting under control now with antibiotics and steroid
cream.I reluctantly turned to strong chemical medication because I don’t think
my natural approach of Apple Cider Vinegar, vitamin D3,B6 and Turmeric was going
to heal it.
I’ve always felt that there is a place for both orthodox
medicines and the alternative natural approach, which should be the first
resort.
Our health services are swamped and at breaking point
because too many don’t do enough to look after their health in the first place,
and then swamp the surgeries for the simplest complaint.
Some friends knowing my love of a joke said the rash was
Fowl Pest.
But the doctors diagnosed it as -
Bullous
pemphigoid
Symptoms
copied below from the NHS website
Bullous
pemphigoid is a blistering skin disease that tends to affect the elderly.
It's
caused by a problem with the immune system, but usually goes away on its own
within a few years. In the meantime, blisters can be controlled with
medication.
About
1 in 10,000 people are affected by the condition in the UK each year.
What
are the symptoms?
Bullous
pemphigoid typically starts with a red, itchy rash that looks a bit like
dermatitis (a type of eczema) or hives. This tends to last several weeks or
months.
Groups
of large, itchy blisters usually then appear on the red patches, just beneath
the surface of the skin. They can be up to 5cm in diameter and full of fluid,
with the thick skin of the blisters stretched tightly.
Blisters
last a few days before healing without leaving a scar, but a cycle develops
where more form.
The
rash and blisters are usually seen on the upper arms and thighs, sometimes
spreading to body folds and the tummy. In severe cases, the blisters may cover
most of the skin, including the inside of the mouth.
What
is the cause?
Bullous
pemphigoid is an autoimmune condition, which means the immune system attacks
the body's own tissues and organs.
The
person's immune system produces antibodies against the skin. These antibodies
attack the basement membrane, which lies between the skin's top layer
(epidermis) and the next layer (dermis), and holds the skin together. The skin
layers start to separate and fluid builds up in between.
It's
not understood why autoimmune diseases like bullous pemphigoid happen, but it's
thought something triggers the immune system to attack the body's own tissues.
Certain medicines and sunburn have been known to act as a trigger.
Symptoms
usually come on unexpectedly.
Bullous
pemphigoid isn't:
infectious
caused
by an allergy
affected
by diet or lifestyle
P.S.How is this for ironies (1) After years of reliability my internet goes down on my birthday.(2) I posted the Bullous phenphigoid - 1 in 10,000 article on Steemit and got flagged for Duplicate Content. What are the odds on that ?

Hatched. Matched. & Dispatched
A wife got so mad at her husband she
packed his bags and told him to get out.
As he walked to the door she yelled,
'I hope you die a long, slow, painful death.'
He turned around and said, '
So, you want me to stay?.
I’m still a bit down caused by the recent eye scare and the
skin rash. In 91 years I don’t get ill, so these health setbacks have shocked
my morale and triggered the glums.
But I must make an effort.I don’t want to give up Steemit
because I think it is going to be big. I just want it to happen in my lifetime,
so it had better get on with it.
When you get to my age you will have seen a few christenings,
weddings and funerals. I’ve only ever been best man once where I had to make a
speech and I found it a nerve wracking experience.
Spreading the Message
I also gave talks on Natural Health and Nutrition to village
Women’s Institutes in our County. I found that much easier because of my
enthusiasm for the subject.
I also had products from the shop on a table in front of me
as I spoke. They acted as props and reminders if I started to dry and struggle.
I would hold up a package of wheat germ and relate its health benefits as a
source of natural Vitamin E.
Don’t forget this was in 1972.You are all familiar with this
now, but back then it was pioneering ground-breaking stuff. Cranks in many
people’s eyes.
Health Food Shop & Vegetarian
Restaurant opens 1972.
The greater the wealth of a nation the more noticeable the
straining waistbands of it’s citizens. Increasing wealth means bigger
temptations testing individual self will
and discipline.
I’ve also been pursuing my new interest in Memes. Could they
be the answer to the reducing attention span of readers. There is so much
content hitting peoples eyeballs that there are just nano seconds in which to
get their attention.
In finding quotes for memes I was surprised by the prolific
output of memorable words by former President Ronald Reagan.Winston Churchill
is the politician mostly associated with eye catching quotes, but search Ronald
Reagan’s quotes portfolio to find many gems too.
His ‘Trust, But Verify’ saying has been used recently in
articles about Crypto Currencies. We should be able to trust our banks, but
these days many feel transactions have
to be independently verified too. Transactions on the Blockchain are Trust and
Verify combined.
Psst! - Want to buy a Painting?
An example of an attention-grabbing picture with a line of
intriguing content that compels further investigation is a tall order, but I
found one last night.
A picture recently sold for $110.5 million at Sothebys. That
was a stopper headline for me. It was on the telly last night. A BBC programme
about the young artist genius – Jean
Michel Basquiat - Died age 27. But what a legacy of art he has left the world.
Graffiti art, not to everyone’s liking, but the skill in the
message behind what seems like scribble. Brilliant. Sensational.
There is an exhibition of his work at The Barbican London
now until January 28th 2018.Crowds are flocking.
For more examples of Basquiat's - Link to The Barbican - http://bit.ly/2xtn6ng
You can't buy the $110 million painting, but you can buy a mug and coaster set as a souvenir of his art.- see the Amazon advert at the top of the sidebar on the right,

How to Print a Motor Bike!
I’m approaching writing and posting
this with some caution.3 weeks ago I had aching eyes and double vision when
writing on this computer. I had been on rather a long time that day.
I’ve had an eye test and new
glasses with protection coating for computer use.
So here goes. Fingers
crossed.
Don’t Blink
Such is the speed of change
taking place, the headline ‘That’s
Yesterday’s News’ is going to increasingly be seen.
Nostalgia is the theme of ‘All our Yesterdays’ a website that I like.
Yesterday it posed the
question –
‘Did your mother leave the
door unlocked in the 1950s?’
There were hundreds of
comments mostly answering ‘YES’.
I answered 'No, my mother
left a note - ‘Key under the mat'
She did, that’s how trusting
they were in those days.
But never mind 'All our Yesterdays’
I want to talk about 'All YOUR Tomorrows
‘Why do I emphasise ‘YOUR’
Tomorrows? - Have you seen my age ?
The Headline about drones in
my last post was prompted by the news that 3D printers will soon be able to manufacture
a wide range of three dimensional objects in various materials including plastic,
glass, titanium etc .
Amazon are experimenting with
delivering with Drones, but many physical goods will soon be deliverable using
a 3D printer.
Place your order and Amazon will
send a digital blueprint of the item to your printer, and hey presto, no
waiting in for days for the parcel.
Hence my comment that the
trial deliveries by Drone will be outdated before they begin.
It is an indication of the speed
at which our world is changing. Inventions outdated before they’ve left the
drawing board.
And at today’s exponential
speed of change it won’t be Here today
and gone Tomorrow it will be Here
today and gone Today.
I see this as a two edged
sword
Whilst rapid change will be
massively good and transform the lives of the poor and desperate of the world,
it could deter innovators and inventors if their creations are out of date
before seeing the light of day
3D printers will also
revolutionise the parts industry The down time for machinery waiting for a
spare part will be cut dramatically.
The digital drawing for the
part will be sent to the computer and the part printed on site will save on
delivery costs and production down time.
Carl Bass of Autodesk is a
leader in 3D printer technology, and according to the book I'm reading there is
a motorcycle and aero engine produced using 3D printer technology on display at
the Autodesk demonstration gallery in San Francisco.
I’ve been on the gallery
website but there is no mention of the above exhibits. There are sculptures and
artworks produced using the 3D technology though.
Carl Bass is excited that 3D
printers able to manufacture a wide range of three dimensional objects in
plastic, glass, titanium etc will soon be as commonplace as inkjet printers.
The concept will drastically
reduce production costs for many physical products.
Tissue engineering pioneer
Anthony Atala of Wake Forest University Medical Centre sees possibilities in
producing human body parts.
Prosthetic limbs are being
produced now.
But our dear old Drones will still have an important
part to play in photography, surveying, surveillance. Plenty for them to do.
Autodesk is a leader in 3D
design, engineering and entertainment software.

What is this Crypto Crap?
Someone who knew I had bought a bit of Bitcoin and was very interested in the subject asked me - What is this Crypto Crap?
And that is a problem. Most of the sensational headlines about Cryptocurrencies ( There are now more than 800!) are about price action driven by
speculators speculating.
Buyers and sellers playing the financial markets that
this new currency Bitcoin and its ilk are for real. Here to stay and will
displace the present stuff.
There aren’t many ordinary citizens going about their business
and shopping for their daily needs thinking - 'We need a new currency'. They see no
issues with what they’ve got. It is accepted (with a few Venezuela like exceptions)
without question wherever they tender it.
For Bitcoin to be accepted for everyday mainstream use, its
going to have to overcome a similar perception that the Ipad first had - Something you didn’t
know you needed, but now can’t live without.
I can’t see it getting to that status.
Not a fair comparison perhaps. But Jack and Jill public will
want to see that there is some advantage to it for them
After all the test to apply to a new invention is - Does it solve a problem? Does it satisfy a need? Does it provide value?
Yes they understand that borderless Bitcoin will enable big business to move money around the world easier and cheaper.
And on an
individual level it will give them a new option for exchanging foreign currency for their holidays
Otherwise as
the man said - come on convince me. - What is this Cryypto Crap?
Now you may wonder what is the old fool doing putting
pictures of dogs in a cryptocurrency article. But there is a connection and its
how I came by the picture source.
I was following up on the snippet about Dogecoin cryptocurrency I shared in
a previous post – a reminder -
How about Dogecoin (pronounced Doggie-coin)…
Dogecoin is a new cryptocurrency for pet lovers…
It’s accepted at a number of stores to purchase everything from leashes
to an animal DNA test kit… or you could use it to pay for a “dogsitter” when
you go on vacation.
In a 7-day period, Dogecoin’s value
increased by a whopping 267%!
So could dog lovers be leading the way in actually using a
crypto currency to buy everyday things.Whatever, it led me to a dog loving facebook
page - @alikeforalick and I am pleased to be able to bring you a few of the
incredible and funny pictures . Enjoy.

Bitcoin Historic Day Collectors Souvenir Keepsake
Yesterday, August 1st 2017, was A
Momentous Day – mark my words – A Landmark
Day - for Cryptocurrencies and particularly Bitcoin which split into Bitcoin
and Bitcoincash. This was thought necessary to handle and speed up the huge
increase in transactions on the network.
There could be wild price volatility during the shakedown
period before a consensus forms about direction and show some semblance of
stability.
But I feel in years to come this day will be looked back upon
as the day - after several charges up the runway – Bitcoin took off -
destination – Mainstream Takeover.
The Cryptocurrency Genie is out of the Bottle
To mark the occasion what better than a souvenir picture of
the man considered to be the genius inventor of a computer code so powerful as
to change history.

More comments
“I bought and framed this for my business partner and he loves it
almost as much as he loves his bitcoin!” “CoinedBits nailed satoshi nakamoto.
Best I’ve ever seen!”.
Proudly display your bitcoin
fervor at home, the office or paste ’em all over public places to help spread
the bitcoin revolution.
Love this cool keepsake. Satoshi Nakamoto definitely deserved this
honor. I was sure to display it in my office as soon as I was gifted it and am
already getting lots of comments and discussion about it (which is great to
liven things up around any workplace, especially with digital currency geeks).
This is a BitCoin Collector/Fan's MUST-HAVE. I was blown away with the
concept and the super awesome illustration of Nakamoto. So clever and so well
done. I love how CoinedBits captures the somewhat mysterious nature of Nakamoto
by shielding his eyes with the BitCoin mark -- and I LOVE how legit it looks on
a TIME Magazine cover.
Seriously, if you know someone who is into crypto-currency, this is the
most unique gift they will ever get and they will love you for it. Or, if you
happen to be one yourself, add this to your collectibles, hang it in your
office, whatever... you're going to love it and you will also love the
conversations it starts.
